We did it!

We passed the $15K mark, and that means the first stretch goal is unlocked! We're going to donate a book to 50 libraries across the United States, so stay tuned for an opportunity to nominate your local library!

We've crossed the first HUGE milestone... now the real work begins!

This will probably be my last update for a little while. I just wanted to celebrate the HUGE milestone we passed this morning.

We have officially reached 100% funded!!

What this means: Because I was scared about how we would fair during this global crisis, I set the goal at what it would cost to print a minimum number of books. Now it's time to reach our BIG goal of $25,000. That will allow me to:

• fill 100 classrooms with FREE books for EVERY student
• print the Spanish-language versions of BOTH Zara books
• publish a diverse book by an emerging author
